FAQ
What does detox feel like?
Detox is a medically supervised process to clear substances from your body. Because we are physician-led, we prioritize your comfort and safety, using evidence-based protocols to manage withdrawal symptoms so you can stabilize as smoothly as possible.
How long is the program?
Every treatment plan is customized. Length of stay depends on your individual medical and clinical needs. Our team will assess your progress and determine the appropriate duration for your success.
What should I bring?
Bring your current medications, comfortable clothing, a journal, and spiritual reading materials. Please leave valuables, electronics, and personal blankets at home.
Can family visit?
Yes. We encourage family involvement through our family therapy and educational programs, as they are a vital part of the recovery process.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept a wide range of insurance plans, including Cigna, Aetna, Optum, United, and TriWest for Veterans. Contact us, and we will verify your specific benefits immediately.
What happens after treatment?
Recovery is a lifelong journey. We provide a robust Aftercare and Alumni program, connecting you with peer support and resources to ensure you maintain your sobriety.
Is treatment confidential?
Absolutely. We adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and privacy protocols to ensure your treatment journey is entirely private and respected.
What is MAT?
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) combines FDA-approved medications with behavioral therapy to stabilize brain chemistry and reduce cravings.
What is TMS Therapy?
TMS is a non-invasive, FDA-cleared treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in the brain, helping those with treatment-resistant depression.
What is Ketamine treatment?
Ketamine is a therapeutic treatment that promotes neuroplasticity, helping the brain “reset” rigid thought patterns associated with depression and trauma.
Do you treat mental health alongside addiction?
Yes. We specialize in “dual-diagnosis” care, treating the addiction and the underlying mental health condition (Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, PTSD) simultaneously.
What makes BNC different?
We are physician-led. Unlike many centers, our medical doctors oversee your daily care, monitor your lab work, and treat co-occurring medical conditions like liver or kidney issues alongside your addiction.
Do you offer programs for veterans?
Yes. We are proud to serve those who have served. We accept TriWest/Community Care and provide Veteran-centric trauma and PTSD care.
What does a typical day look like?
Days are structured and purposeful, consisting of a mix of physician visits, individual therapy, group sessions, mindfulness/yoga, and skills-based workshops.
Can I continue working during treatment?
Depending on your level of care (such as IOP or PHP), there may be flexibility. However, for Inpatient/Residential treatment, we recommend focusing entirely on your healing.
